New Revolutions In Particle Physics

I thought I should put this up now that we truly have a series going with the 3rd lecture now online. This series is given by Lenoard Susskind, and being produced by Stanford University. This is the brief synopsis of the lecture:

Leonard Susskind gives the first lecture of a three-quarter sequence of courses that will explore the new revolutions in particle physics. In this lecture he explores light, particles and quantum field theory.

As an engineer who has forgotten most of this, I find it very interesting and am enjoying the first lecture. But... eating and talking with your mouth full while giving a lecture? Really? Really?

hi, thank you for posting these lectures, they are so invaluable to a curious-minded person like me who has nothing to do with physics and yet is so attracted to the subject that she wants to learn more and more...

Well, he is doing these after a long day, for a continuing education series too. Additionally, he is getting old, so he should probably get a pass to eat and drink if he wants too.

I highly appreciate this. Thank you for posting all physics video's like these. I wonder if you supply the main url for each of hte courses from Yale, coz i don't seem to find them if any.

Besides, are there any similar series on Nuclear Physics ?

thx
