ZapperZ's physics blog on the world of Physics and Physicists.
I watched it Zapper. Shame they kept banging on about the magnetic field. There is no such thing! The field concerned is the electromagnetic field. What people say is a magnetic field merely denotes the rotational force resulting from electromagnetic field interactions. What people say is a electric field merely denotes the linear force resulting from electromagnetic field interactions. It's a bit like cyclones and anticyclones. Co-rotating vortexes attract, counter-rotating vortexes repel, and they swirl around each other as well. Amazingly, very few people understand this. It's like Maxwell and Minkowski never existed. And Heaviside.
