Fermilab is the only U.S. national laboratory dedicated to particle physics. What does the start up of the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland mean for Fermilab? The end-date for the Tevatron seems to get pushed back repeatedly here with the unexpected delay in the LHC operations. We'll see how that will pan out when the LHC restarts and how quickly results will appear out of it. In the meantime, the Tevatron continues to hunt for any possible hint of the Higgs.....
