The World's Top Ten Telescopes

Based on science impact, the Sloan Digital Sky Survey is the top telescope of the year {link open for free only for a limited time}. The list of the top 10 telescopes was compiled in this report.

    The telescopes in Copernicus' and Keppler's time must be included in this list - although they are extremely obsolete nowadays - they are fairly very advance during their time.
