Public Lecture on Quantum Cryptography

Daniel Gottesman of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics will give a public lecture on Apr. 4th on Quantum Cryptography: A Tale of Secrets Hidden and Revealed Through the Laws of Physics.

Unfortunately, even if you're in the area and haven't gotten tickets to the lecture, it is already sold out. But prep yourself up for this next one from the Perimeter Institute:

May 2, 2007, 7:00 pm
Howard Burton, Perimeter Institute, Executive Director: "Great Scientific Ideas That Were Completely Wrong"

Tickets available starting on Monday, April 16, 2007.

That sounds like it might be a hoot! No one here can give me a report on this? :) In any case, past public lecture podcast can be viewed here.

Zz.
