An Interview With Dean Kamen

This is a short interview with Dean Kamen, the inventor of the Segway (that I had the pleasure to be on for more than 2 hours at Epcot last Sept) and the insulin pump. I like it where he stated the obvious that most quacks just do not get:

If we come up with a great idea but it violates the laws of physics, (it won’t work).

That's a rather good rule to live by.

  1. I'm a little confused about your post...was it Dean Kamen or the insulin pump that gave you pleasure to be on for more than 2 hours at Epcot?

  2. I'd say go easy on the crack and pot, because I thought it was explicitly clear what I meant when I said this:

"This is a short interview with Dean Kamen, the inventor of the Segway (that I had the pleasure to be on for more than 2 hours at Epcot last Sept) and the insulin pump."

The "quack" part is, unfortunately, beyond anyone's help.
